I bought an air fryer a few weeks ago specifically for wings, and although I’ve been using it a lot for other things, I didn’t get to wings until yesterday. This is a terrific recipe, but the original Buffalo wing sauce I’ve used for decades called for about 4 parts melted butter to 1 part bottled hot sauce. I tried to follow this recipe which has no butter at all–but my evolved preference–based on experimenting yesterday–is 1 part melted butter for 1 part hot sauce. The air fryer did a great job crisping the chicken wings without any added fat, but, IMO, there has to be some in the sauce.

Probably one of the only kitchen appliances I do not own, but this recipe sounds simple and sounds very good, I love chicken wings and using the oven heats the whole house up

Buffalo wings are too spicy for me so I would make them mild. I haven’t used an air fryer yet but would love to try it out.
