We love to eat pizzas and making them at home is very easy since you can buy the dough premade at your local grocery store bakery. We buy ours at Publix and it comes in a bag and is 16 oz. You must let it rest on the counter for about an hour before using. We split the dough in half and it makes two thin crust pizzas. We both like different toppings so this works great for us.

This is my pizza that I made on a pizza stone. It's a mexican pizza made with the above ingredients along with leftover taco meat, cheddar cheese and diced tomatoes.

Finished product! I'm torn between the mexican pizza and the white pizza as my favorite. I make the white pizza (with no pizza sauce) olive oil, minced garlic, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese and sliced tomatoes.

This is Curtis' pizza. He likes variety so this time he did three types in one. All had pizza sauce and mozzarella. One third of the pizza had pepperoni, sausage and green peppers. Another one-third had bacon, sliced chicken (cold cuts), onions and peppers. The last one-third was sliced ham (cold cuts), pineapple and onion.

Curtis prefers this metal pizza pan to the stone that I use.

And as you may be able to tell, some of our ingredients were leftover from other meals. We love to create different pizzas. I hope this inspires you to try this and be creative.
